Students - boys and girls - in the fourth grade or above are eligible for training as Altar Servers.
Responsibilities include arriving at the church early to prepare the Altar for Mass; assisting the priest and people during the Mass; and returning all vessels used to their proper places afterward.
Requirements include: having already received First Holy Communion.; being currently enrolled in Catholic Religious Education or Catholic School; sufficient maturity; knowledge of and respect for the vessels used at Mass; ability and willingness to join in the responses during Mass.
